EXPERIMENTAL HYDROPLANE MAIL FLIGHT        Tacoma WA ~ Seattle WA

Gustave Stomer constructed a hydroplane in Tacoma WA. To publicize his new hydroplane he planned to operate a daily passenger flight service between Tacoma and Seattle WA. In addition, Stomer arranged with Postmaster FR Stocking of Tacoma for the aerial transport of mail on this service. Aviator Stomer flew his first passenger, actress Miss Jane O'Roark from Tacoma about twenty five miles to Seattle. With a bit of public fanfare, Miss O'Roark hand delivered the mail pouch to Seattle Postmaster, Edgar Battle.

EXPERIMENTAL AEROPLANE MAIL FLIGHT        Sequin TX ~ San Antonio TX

Authorization from the Washington DC Post Office was received authorizing mail to be flown between Sequin and San Antonio TX. During the Firemen's Celebration aviatrix Marjorie Stinson attempted to fly from Sequin to San Antonio. High winds caused the flight to be postponed until the next day when she carried a letter from the Mayor of Sequin and delivered it to the Mayor of San Antonio, Clinton G Brown.

DRIVING PARK AVIATION EXHIBITION        Port Huron MI

The Postmaster of Port Huron MI established a postal sub-station at the Driving Park Port Huron MI. Patterson Aviators pilot, Osbert E Williams flew from the Driving Park about two miles to a point near the Port Huron Post Ofiice where he dropped the mail from the plane. The mail was then retrieved and taken to the post office.

EXPOSITION PARK AVIATION EXHIBITION        Rock Island IL

The Postmaster of Rock Island IL established a postal sub-station at Exposition Park Rock Island IL. Patterson Aviators pilot, Harry J Webster flew from the exposition about one and a half miles circling over the Rock Island Post Ofiice and returned to the expo. The returned flown mail was then off-loaded and dispatched to the post office by automobile.

STATE FAIR AVIATION MEET        Detroit MI

The Postmaster of Detroit MI established two postal sub-stations four miles apart. Postal Station #1 was at the Michigan State Fair Grounds and Station #2 was at Royal Oak MI. Patterson Aviators pilot, Osbert E Williams flew from one station to the other passinbg over the Ford Motor Company plant along the way. He had hoped to fly across the border to Windsor and Walkerville Canada but did not receive the approval from the Canadian postal authorities. On his return to ground, the flown mail pouch was taken to the post office for dispatch.

Patterson Aviators pilot, Osbert E Williams made five flights, each circling the fair grounds carrying mail. On his return to ground, the flown mail pouch was taken to nearby West Allis Station for postal dispatch.

Patterson Aviators pilots, Osbert E Williams and Farnum Fish had been contracted to perform at the Northern Wisconsin State Fair. In addition to performing some mock air battles, mail was carried on two flights. On return to ground, the flown mail was taken to the Chippewa Falls Post Office for postal dispatch.

The Postmaster of Tucson AZ authorized the aerial transport of mail from the Southern Arizona Fair Tucson AZ. Aviator Katherine Stinson flew from the Fair Grounds about five miles to a spot near the Tucson Post Office where she dropped the mail from the plane. The mail was then retrieved and taken to the post office.
